Yoshi Yokokawa is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alpaca, where he is transforming how financial services are built and accessed worldwide. Alpaca is a self-clearing broker-dealer and global leader in brokerage infrastructure APIs, providing access to stocks, ETFs, options, fixed income, and crypto. Today, the company supports hundreds of financial institutions and fintechs across 40 countries to serve more than 9 million end customers. Its partners include market leaders such as Kraken (United States), SBI Securities (Japan), Midas (Turkey), and Dime! (Thailand). Yoshi brings nearly two decades of experience in finance and fintech and is an award-winning leader, having been named a 2025 Endeavor Entrepreneur. Before co-founding Alpaca, he served as a Managing Partner at a software development firm focused on big-data solutions and held roles as a Forex trader and Vice President in Structured Finance at Nomura Holdings. He began his career at Lehman Brothers. Yoshi holds a degree from Keio University in Tokyo and is an alum of Y Combinator.
