Tamara Haasen serves as President of Input Output (IO), a world-leading blockchain infrastructure and research firm dedicated to building a sustainable Web3 ecosystem. Since joining in 2017, she has played a pivotal role in shaping IO’s culture, operations, and global growth, progressing from HR Director and Chief of Staff to her current leadership position. A lifelong blockchain advocate, Tamara also serves on the Cardano Foundation Council, where she brings her expertise in business development, systems integration, and talent strategy to advance the Foundation’s mission and ecosystem governance. Tamara holds a Juris Doctor degree from Bond University and a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of Toronto. Her background is uniquely multidisciplinary — she is also a trained audio engineer and actor, with theatre credentials from New York’s Circle in the Square Theater School and notable screen work in films like Boyhood and The Tree of Life. Beyond her operational leadership, Tamara is deeply committed to innovation and education. She is co-designing a product management specialist master’s program with Carnegie Mellon University to empower emerging blockchain entrepreneurs and product leaders. She is the creator of Integra—an AI powered cybernetics collaboration model for organizations and ecosystems which is currently incubated and tested at Input Output. Tamara is also closely involved in IO’s plans to build a state-of-the-art global campus, a hub designed to unite developers, researchers, educators, and policymakers to collaborate on the next generation of blockchain solutions, advance technical education, and accelerate real-world adoption.
