Steve Vallas

Steve Vallas is CEO of Blockchain APAC, an advisory and policy engagement firm working across digital assets, regulation and institutional adoption in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. He works with exchanges, custodians, banks and government stakeholders on market entry strategy, regulatory positioning and policy engagement across Australian and international jurisdictions. He has served two terms on ASIC's Digital Finance Advisory Panel (DFAP) and holds current advisory roles with the Global Blockchain Business Council (GBBC) and the Association for Women in Cryptocurrency (AWIC). Through Blockchain APAC, he has established several industry platforms including Policy Week, the Digital Asset Conference, the RegTech Forum and the DA Top 50 Impact List each designed to structure dialogue between industry participants and policymakers and to surface the actors shaping the regulatory environment. Steve is a regular commentator and speaker on digital asset policy, with particular focus on the synthesis and implications of regulatory developments across Australia, the US, UK and Asia.
