Phil Kwok is the co-founder and CEO of EasyA, the Web3 engine powering the world’s leading blockchains. EasyA's ecosystem is valued at over $12 billion and its founders have been backed by a16z, Founders Fund, Y Combinator and other top VCs. Phil is a computer scientist and expert in blockchain, having joined in 2013 and contributed to a number of open source protocols. He is also a leader in education, and came top of his year as a scholar at Cambridge University, winning the prestigious College, Foundation, Squire, Falcon, Ziegler, Ginsberg, Somogyi and HAT scholarships, amongst others. He was one of the youngest people ever to pass the New York Bar, and has served in numerous educational positions, such as guest lecturer at Cambridge University and mentor to the Pembroke College, Cambridge University LEAP Programme. Phil was awarded the Leading Alumni Award by Cambridge University, given to only 5 other alumni in the history of the university for outstanding achievements in their careers.
