Nikil Viswanathan serves as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Alchemy, the world's leading blockchain infrastructure platform that powers over $1 trillion in onchain transaction volume annually. Under his leadership, Alchemy has become the foundational infrastructure layer for Web3, providing enterprise-grade APIs, node services, and developer tools to companies including JP Morgan, Coinbase, Robinhood, PayPal, Visa, Stripe, OpenSea, World, Polymarket, and many others. Prior to founding Alchemy in 2017 alongside CTO Joe Lau, Viswanathan held product management positions at several major technology companies. He worked on core products at Google, Microsoft, and Facebook, where he developed expertise in building consumer-facing platforms at scale. As a serial entrepreneur and a coder, Viswanathan previously co-created Down To Lunch, a social coordination application that achieved the #1 ranking in social apps globally. Viswanathan holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University, where his studies focused on distributed systems and computer networks—foundational knowledge that would later inform Alchemy's technical architecture. He continues to lead Alchemy's mission to bring blockchain technology to every company, developer, and user worldwide by providing the critical infrastructure layer that makes building onchain applications reliable, scalable, and accessible.
