He currently serves as Chief Growth & Marketing Officer at Kraken, where he leads the company’s mission to accelerate global financial inclusion by onboarding the next billion users into the crypto ecosystem. Since joining Kraken in 2022, amid one of the most challenging periods in the industry's history, Mayur has architected a world-class global growth organization spanning product-led growth, growth engineering, design, brand, growth and product marketing, research and analytics. Under his leadership, Kraken has captured significant market share through a scalable and measurable growth engine that drives sustainable, customer-centric outcomes. Mayur’s evolution from an engineer to a marketing and business executive reflects a rare blend of deep technical fluency and strategic business acumen. Prior to Kraken, he served as Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Gannett | USA Today Network, where he also served on the company’s Board of Directors. Earlier, he was Global VP of Growth at Spotify, playing a pivotal role in scaling the platform’s subscriber base to over 100 million for the first time. Prior to that, he was the CMO at Freshly (acquired by Nestlé), led eCommerce and digital transformation at Kimberly-Clark as the first Global Chief Marketing Technologist after spending more than a decade at SapientRazorfish where he built enterprise applications for a number Fortune 500s and also built AdTech & Martech products in the mid 2000s. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from IMT, India, and currently serves on the board of Soka Gakkai International, a global NGO focused on peace and human transformation. He has held board roles at Adtalem Global Education (NYSE: ATGE), Gannett (NYSE: GCI), and other organizations such as D’Addario, MMA, and AMA.
