Michael Harvey is a Managing Director and Head of Franchise Trading at Galaxy Digital, where he oversees the global client-facing spot and derivatives trading businesses across a team of 25 traders and analysts. Under his leadership, Galaxy successfully launched both a CFTC-registered Swap Dealer and a FINRA-registered Broker Dealer. Prior to Galaxy, Michael was Head of Trading at JST Digital, where he led trading, risk management, and technology initiatives across the firm's client and proprietary businesses. Prior to that, Michael spent nearly two decades at UBS Investment Bank as a senior options trader, ultimately serving as Global Head of Electronic FX Options Trading and a member of the FX Derivatives Management Forum. He also served as Head of Precious Metals Derivatives Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Michael holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
