In this role Christian establishes and coordinates global partnerships with Digital Asset and Fintech customers, and executes impactful initiatives in collaboration with Mastercard’s relationship management and product teams to deploy innovative digital payment propositions globally. Previously heading up Mastercard’s Central European Product team between 2015 and 2019, Christian was responsible for the introduction of Debit Mastercard. Subsequently Christian led the Mastercard Vienna office as General Manager for the Austrian Market. Christian joined Mastercard in 2012 after having held positions in the telecommunication, internet service provider and banking sector.
