Brent Perreault is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Paxos, the regulated financial infrastructure company behind USDG, PYUSD, and PAXG. He leads smart contract development and multi-chain stablecoin architecture, with deep expertise in EVM, Solana (Token-2022), and custody systems. His current work focuses on on-chain reward distribution, DeFi for brokerages, and engineering at the boundary between regulated finance and permissionless public blockchains. Brent holds a PhD in Physics and brings a quantitative, first-principles approach to blockchain infrastructure design.
