He also held media positions at Nasdaq, NPR affiliate WFUV, and Business Insider. Beyond journalism, Chaparro has advised and invested in dozens of startups across crypto, fintech, and financial services. His work has been instrumental in shaping go-to-market strategies, refining brand messaging, and guiding narrative development for early- and growth-stage companies. Chaparro is a sought-after commentator on financial markets and digital assets, having lent his voice and opinions to major networks including CNBC and Fox Business. He has a degree in theology and political economy from Fordham University.
